Viewing Word and Excel Files

Many files posted on the South Carolina Public Service Commission WebSite are in either Microsoft Word 2000 or Microsoft Excel 2000.  If you do not have either of those products, go to the Microsoft WebSite and download the viewers and instructions for:

Word Viewer 

Excel Viewer  

On several pages there are files that you may download. Depending on what browser and applications you have installed on your machine, the download function(s) will vary. This site has been designed for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and Netscape Navigator 4.7.

Downloading with Internet Explorer:

Click on the file that you want to download and follow the instructions that follow.

Downloading with Netscape Navigator:

If you are downloading a file with the .exe or .zip extensions you may just click on the file and it will download. If the file is a document or an unkown file type "right-click" on the file to download and follow the instructions that follow.

Additional Browser Tips

If you have further problems downloading from this site, try "right-clicking" on the item you wish to download. Most browsers will popup a menu and you can choose "save file as" or "save file" and this will download the file to your local machine.
